CharCretia Di Bartolo is a trial attorney with a broad litigation practice encompassing fidelity and surety, personal injury defense, commercial insurance coverage, professional liability defense, employment defense and products liability defense.

She has represented sureties in payment, performance and miscellaneous bond matters, and insurance carriers and their policyholders in the defense of wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits, and discrimination and harassment claims. Ms. Di Bartolo has also advised carriers with respect to insurance coverage for all types of policies, including fidelity, general liability, professional liability and excess coverages.

She has trial and motion practice experience in both the federal and state courts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and before state and federal administrative agencies, such as the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights.
Professional Background
Ms. Di Bartolo joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in July 2005 to open the firm's Boston office, where she is the current Partner-in-Charge.

Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Di Bartolo clerked for the Superior Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, Rhode Island Bar Association and the National Association of Women Lawyers. Ms. Di Bartolo holds the AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for ethics and legal ability.
