Bradford Carver is an experienced trial lawyer with a particular emphasis on surety, fidelity and construction litigation. He began his legal practice in 1980 as an attorney in the surety department of Travelers Indemnity Company and since moving into private practice several years later, has developed a reputation for top-quality representation in the area.
Mr. Carver is also experienced in handling bankruptcy, products liability, toxic torts and environmental litigation.

Mr. Carver joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in July 2005 to open the firm's Boston office where he is the partner-in-charge. He is also a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Director of the firm’s Northeast Region. Previously Mr. Carver was a founding partner with the Boston law firm of Cetrulo & Capone LLP for 10 years.
Mr. Carver was an attorney in the surety department at Travelers Indemnity Company from 1980 to 1983. He then entered private practice and expanded his focus into other areas of litigation.
Mr. Carver is active in the American Bar Association. He is a member and vice-chair of the
ABA's Fidelity and Surety Law Committee. He is also a member of the
ABA’s Tort and Insurance Practice Committee, Fidelity and Surety Sub-Committee and the Forum on the Construction Industry. Mr. Carver’s professional memberships also include the Surety Claims Institute and the National Bond Claims Association.
Since 2005, Mr. Carver has been named annually to the
Super Lawyers list in the area of Construction / Surety by
New England Super Lawyers & Rising Stars magazine. In addition, he holds the AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for ethics and legal ability.
