Tyler Carle focuses his practice in consumer financial services. He represents financial institutions in consumer actions involving state and federal claims relating to mortgage litigation, debt collection and unfair business practices. Mr. Carle litigates complex matters in both state and federal court at various stages, including drafting and responding to complaints, propounding and responding to discovery, arguing dispositive motions, and taking depositions. He also negotiates settlements and drafts settlement agreements.
Prior to joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in August 2016, Mr. Carle was an attorney in the San Francisco office of an international firm headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He spent a year as a law clerk to the Honorable Alan Jaroslovsky, United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of California. Mr. Carle began his legal career as an attorney with Legal Aid of Sonoma County.
During law school, Mr. Carle was a research assistant to Professor Angelo DeSantis. He also clerked with a law firm in San Francisco.
Prior to entering law school, Mr. Carle was a fulltime Cramer Law Fellow at Tyler W. Cramer, A Law Corporation. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Carle was a U.S. Congressional Intern to the Honorable Mike Thompson, Congressman for California's 5th District.
