Paula Anderson focuses her legal nurse consultant practice in assisting attorneys with health care matters. Ms. Anderson is a Registered Nurse with more than 21 years of experience as an obstetrical nurse in both hospital and clinical settings, as well as work as a preparatory and recovery nurse for outpatient surgeries.

Ms. Anderson's nursing experience includes abstracting, compiling and documenting surgical quality data; reviewing and researching medical records; identifying contraindications for surgery; care of high-risk patients on tertiary care units. She uses these skills and her medical nursing experience to assist attorneys with both litigation and transactional health care matters.

Professional Background

Prior to joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in September 2016, Ms. Anderson worked as a surgical clinical reviewer for a medical center in Neenah, Wisconsin. She spent a year in obstetrics at the Mayo Clinic Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota before concentrating her nursing practice in Wisconsin.

Ms. Anderson is certified in both Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).  In addition, she has completed Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) training.

Paula is a mom of three, and spends a great deal of her free time involved in (and driving to) her children's sports activities! She enjoys running, biking and gardening.
