Natasha Steele focuses her practice primarily in professional liability defense, with particular emphasis on medical malpractice claims against health care providers. Her clients primarily include physicians, nurses, hospitals, clinics, and other health care institutions.
In addition to her professional liability practice, Ms. Steele also has experience in general practice, including commercial collections, labor and employment matters, estate planning, and family law.
Ms. Steele joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in April 2013. Previously, she was an associate with a general practice firm in Peoria, Illinois. Ms. Steele began her legal career as an associate at Aplington, Kaufman, McClintock, Steele & Barry, in LaSalle, Illinois.
During law school, Ms. Steele served a series of internships, with the Chicago Transit Authority, where she worked as a 711 intern; and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where she clerked for an Administrative Law Judge.
In addition to her other law school accomplishments, Ms. Steele was a member of the Trial Advocacy Competition Team and served on the Executive Board of the Multicultural Law Student Association.
