Madelyn J. Lamb focuses her practice on representing physicians and surgeons, dentists, allied health professions, as well as community hospitals in professional liability cases. Her attention to detail and problem solving allow her to analyze each case and develop a strategy designed to attain a successful resolution. Ms. Lamb is responsive and empathetic to the concerns of defendant healthcare professionals and helps her clients navigate the litigation process. She has earned the respect of her colleagues as being a knowledgeable and experienced trial lawyer.

In addition to her extensive trial practice, Ms. Lamb counsels her clients on risk management to improve patient safety and reduce practice risks.

Professional Background

Ms. Lamb is a graduate of the University of Illinois where she earned a bachelor's degree in economics and was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the economics honor society. She graduated from St. Louis University School of Law, Cum Laude. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Lamb was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable John Marshall Karnes, Jr., then a justice on the Illinois Appellate Court, Fifth District. Thereafter, her professional career has involved complex litigation matters including personal injury defense and the defense of professional negligence claims. She is a member of the Healthcare Practice Group at Hinshaw & Culbertson, LLP.
