Luci Hoover is a corporate paralegal. She maintains records and reports for more than 150 entities, and is responsible for preparation and filing of applications for exemption on all charitable, religious and municipalities represented by the Rockford office of the firm. Some of the clients she assists with include the OSF Healthcare System and the Catholic Diocese of Rockford.

At the direction of partners of the firm, Ms. Hoover regularly handles financial reporting for political campaigns.

Professional Background

Ms. Hoover joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in September 1997. Previously she was for nine years a legal secretary and then paralegal at Holmstrom & Kennedy PC.

Prior to her paralegal career, Ms. Hoover was a legal secretary at Bernard F. Healy, Esq., where she worked for 12 years. She also was a freelance secretarial assistant for seven years and then a legal secretary for one year to Thomas D. Luchetti, Esq., and for one year to Francis Hickey Esq. In addition, she was for three years secretary to the president of Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet.

Ms. Hoover is an adjunct instructor in the paralegal program of Rockford Business College.
