Katherine Miller focuses her practice in insurance services, with particular emphasis on insurance coverage litigation. Ms. Miller is involved in all phases of the litigation process, including research, discovery, motions, and court appearances.

Professional Background

Prior to joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in June 2015, Ms. Miller was a law clerk to the Honorable Dave Lee Brannon and the Honorable William Matthewman, both at the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.  Katherine also previously worked as an associate for a year and a half at Franklin Legal Group, P.A. in Miami.  During law school, Ms. Miller interned with Justice Charles T. Canady of the Florida Supreme Court and Broward County Legal Aid Service.

In addition to her other law school accomplishments, Ms. Miller received CALI Awards in Constitutional Law, Federal Tax Law, Legal Skills and Values III, and Criminal Procedure – Investigation. She was an Appellate Advocacy Member of the Board of Advocates, and a participant in the 2012 Robert Orseck Memorial Moot Court Competition.
