Katharine Caro focuses her paralegal practice in assisting attorneys with litigation. She assists with all aspects of case management, from inception to trial, for defense in diverse claims, including but not limited to nursing home abuse and neglect, personal injury, construction litigation, automobile negligence, product liability and premises liability.

Ms. Caro manages discovery that often includes voluminous documents, medical records and other discovery materials. In addition, she prepares discovery requests and responses, and other pleadings and motions for filing with the courts. Ms. Caro also assists attorneys in all phases of trial preparation, including reviewing, organizing and summarizing documents. Ms. Caro's expertise in the performance of her paralegal duties has proven to be a tremendous value to our firm's clients.

Professional Background

Ms. Caro joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP as a paralegal in January 2014. Previously she was a receptionist at the firm. She has worked as a legal assistant and as a paralegal in both Jacksonville, Florida and Boston.

Her undergraduate accomplishments included having been a member of the Dean's List and also the President's List.
