Jill McFarland is a litigation paralegal experienced in assisting in all its aspects of trial practice.
Ms. McFarland reviews discovery answers, obtains medical records and prepares medical chronologies, obtains witness statements, schedules depositions, indexes deposition testimony, locates expert witnesses, prepares subpoenas and organizes document production. She regularly appears in court to obtain hearing dates and file pleadings.
In addition to her general litigation work, Ms. McFarland also handles medical malpractice and products liability matters.
Ms. McFarland joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in September 1999. Previously she was a paralegal for Sandberg, Phoenix & vonGontard, LLP and also Herzog, Crebs & McGhee, LLP. In addition, Ms. McFarland clerked for Husch & Eppenberger.
In 1999, she worked on Missouri v. American Tobacco with then- Missouri Attorney General Jeremiah Nixon.
