Anne O'Niell practices in the areas of insurance coverage and insurance bad faith defense, and is experienced in insurance coverage analysis, litigation and negotiation involving all kinds of policies and claims.
Ms. O'Niell has dealt with many kinds of liability insurance disputes, and she has handled first-party insurance analysis and litigation. Her experience includes successful trial and appellate work, and significant experience in ADR proceedings.
Prior to joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in April 2003, Ms. O’Niell practiced as trial counsel for a major insurer and in private practice, in both San Francisco and New Orleans.
Ms. O’Niell is an active member of the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL). She is the 2011 recipient of NAWL’s Virginia Mueller Outstanding Member Award for her contributions toward increasing NAWL’s activities in the Bay Area.
Ms. O’Niell was invited to become a member of the Council on Litigation Management in January 2011. Her professional memberships also include the San Francisco County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the federal courts in California. She is an inactive member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
