Anne D. O'Niell, a Partner in the
San Francisco office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, has been selected to receive the
National Association of Women Lawyers’ (NAWL’s) Virginia Mueller Outstanding Member Award. The honor will be presented at NAWL’s upcoming Annual Awards Luncheon at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York on Thursday, July 21, 2011. The award is the highest honor bestowed by NAWL, a national voluntary legal professional organization devoted to promoting the interests and progress of women lawyers and women's legal rights.
Ms. O’Niell is being recognized for her contributions toward increasing NAWL's activities in the Bay Area, which have included helping to organize multiple events sponsored by Bay Area NAWL, including a NAWL “Night of Giving” charity event and other events in San Francisco and San Jose.
Ms. O'Niell practices in the areas of insurance coverage and insurance bad faith defense, and is experienced in insurance coverage analysis, litigation and negotiation. She has dealt with many kinds of liability insurance disputes, and has handled first-party insurance analysis and litigation. Ms. O'Niell’s experience includes successful trial and appellate work, and significant experience in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
