Andrew E. Grigsby Elected Capital Partner

Miami, Chicago, June 11, 2004 Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP has elected attorney Andrew E. Grigsby a Capital Partner in the firm, effective July 1, 2004. Mr. Grigsby, 53, is based in the firm’s Miami office and focuses his practice in civil litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on cases involving complex insurance issues.

Mr. Grigsby has been a member of The Florida Bar since 1981, and is Board Certified as a specialist in Civil Trial Law by The Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization. He is also a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and the Federalist Society. He holds Martindale Hubbell’s highest rating, “AV,” for legal skill and professional ethics. 

Exemplifying his extensive trial experience, Mr. Grigsby was Chair of the Florida Supreme Court Judicial Nominating Commission in 2002 and 2003 and is currently a member of the Commission. He served as a Commissioner for the Third District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission from 1999 to 2001.

Mr. Grigsby, a Non-Capital partner prior to this election, graduated from the University of Michigan School of Law in 1981.
