Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is a national, full-service law firm with approximately 500 lawyers. Founded in 1934, our firm is headquartered in Chicago and maintains 24 offices in 12 states: Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island and Wisconsin.

Firm Governance
Hinshaw is governed by a seven-person Management Committee. Members of the committee are:

These departments are supplemented by 23 practice groups, each of which is formed around an area of law or industry. Each attorney is assigned to one of the national departments, and can participate in one or more practice groups based upon the particular individual's legal or industry expertise.

Hinshaw's national department and practice group structure brings the talent and experience of the entire firm to bear on matters originating in any office. The structure promotes the exchange of information on a national basis, and allows for high-quality client service within and among the various practices and offices. Our practice and specialty groups provide a mechanism for focusing educational activities, establishing databases on law and procedures within the practice area, and applying those skills to a given matter.
