Mortimer, a Partner in the Schererville, Indiana, office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, has been named a Co-Regional Director for the firm’s Chicago Metro Litigation Region. Hinshaw’s Chicago Metro Litigation Region includes litigation attorneys in the firm’s offices in Chicago, Crystal Lake, Joliet, Lisle, Rockford and Northwest Indiana.
As Co-Regional Director, Ms. Mortimer will serve a critical management role within the firm, ensuring that the Chicago, Crystal Lake, Joliet, Lisle, Rockford and Northwest Indiana offices provide high-quality representation to clients and contribute to Hinshaw’s financial success. Ms. Mortimer is currently also a member of Hinshaw’s Executive Committee, the Partner-in-Charge of Hinshaw’s Northwest Indiana office and co-chair of the firm’s Transportation Specialty Group.

Ms. Mortimer has a broad litigation practice, with particular emphasis in managing large risks and exposures, and litigating large and excess risks. She is a national counsel for the American National Red Cross. Her litigation practice places particular emphasis in the area of trucking and heavy vehicle litigation, medical malpractice, general liability, products liability, municipal liability and ERISA benefits litigation.
