APPLETON, WIS. ― Patrick F. Koenen, a Partner in the Appleton office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, has been named Co-Regional Director for the firm’s Upper Midwest Region. Hinshaw’s Upper Midwest Region includes the firm's offices in Appleton, Milwaukee and Minneapolis.
As Co-Regional Director, Mr. Koenen will serve a critical management role within the firm, ensuring that the Appleton, Milwaukee and Minneapolis offices provide high-quality representation to clients and contribute to Hinshaw’s financial success. Mr. Koenen is currently also the Partner-in-Charge of Hinshaw’s Appleton office.

Patrick F. Koenen focuses his litigation practice in the areas of health care law and professional liability. Since 1986, he has tried to verdict more than 40 cases in state and federal courts. Mr. Koenen has likewise handled numerous cases before the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Wisconsin Courts of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. In addition, he regularly advises physicians, hospitals, health care groups and businesses on risk-avoidance techniques and compliance with diverse laws and regulations.
