Klingaman Elected to Lawyer Pilots Bar Association’s Board of Directors

MILWAUKEE — Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP attorney, Russell A. Klingaman has been elected to the board of directors of the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association (LPBA). The LPBA is an international, non-profit bar association of approximately 1,300 members, most of whom are attorneys and pilots (or former pilots).

Mr. Klingaman, a licensed pilot who owns his own airplane, has been a member of the LPBA since graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1991.

Mr. Klingaman is an active participant in LPBA activities. He made presentations at LPBA meetings in 2008 and 2009. Articles written by Mr. Klingaman on topics associated with those presentations have been or will be published in the LPBA Journal.

Mr. Klingaman has many years of experience handling aviation law matters. He regularly represents airlines, airports, pilots, manufacturers, mechanics, insurers and others in aviation-related litigation.
In 2008, Mr. Klingaman was named to the Super Lawyers list in the area of aviation by Wisconsin Super Lawyers & Rising Stars magazine. He is an adjunct professor the Marquette University Law School where he teaches aviation law.
